In an effort to spend more time with Carrie, Doug hires Holly (Nicole Sullivan) to walk Arthur. The plan backfires, however when Carrie starts spending more on her own endeavors than with Doug.
Carrie decides she's ready to try for a baby again, Doug is very happy about this. Carrie also takes up Spinning as a new hobby and Doug is less happy. Spence introduces his dog walker friend Holly to the family and Carrie and Doug see opportunity to re-direct her talents to their advantage.—David Bond
Doug and Carrie Heffernan decide they want to have a baby, but Carrie's father Arthur keeps getting in the way. Now that his last friend moved away, he has nothing to do all day, and he ends up annoying them at night. Doug decides to hire a dog walker to walk Arthur so he can spend time with Carrie. Holly Shumpert is introduced, played by Nicole Sullivan.
Doug and Carrie feel that they are ready to become parents. Their only problem is that Arthur is always around, and never gives them any time to themselves. Doug hires a dog walker named Holly to walk Arthur for a couple hours. Arthur does not know that Holly is a dog walker. Carrie uses the time for her own personal pleasures. Doug hates that she is not paying enough attention to him with the time he is buying. Eventually, Arthur finds out what Holly does. Eventually, Arthur and Holly become good friends.—laffalott1
