When Michael is going to the airfield, it's shown KITT is in "normal mode", which means it is being driven by a driver versus "auto mode" where KITT self drives. Michael is in the passenger seat, and could not be driving. Also, when arriving at the hanger, Michael is shown getting out on the driver side. The shot is not flipped because his shirt buttons are on the correct side, that being the right side.
When Michael picks up Camela in Phoenix, the corner where she gets into KITT has street signs clearly placing the filming location at the intersection of Lankershim and Moorpark in North Hollywood, California. A few seconds later, they're seen driving North on Lankershim passing Magnolia Blvd. and Mayberry Motors. This might normally be considered an Error in Geography, but the church at the corner where Michael met Camela was used the previous week in "My Brother's Keeper" as being the Church of the Morning in Los Angeles (not Phoenix).
When Mr. Knight and K.I.T.T. first encounter the helicopter gunship, the gunship is missing two missiles on each side. Missiles are fired from these hardpoints shortly thereafter.
At the beginning, Michael is telling KITT how is looking forward to his next assignment being in Southern California, but the previous week's assignment (in "My Brother's Keeper") was set entirely in Los Angeles.
The SX-411 "top secret attack helicopter" is nothing more than an ordinary Bell 206 JetRanger with adornments and a black paint job. It is possible that the SX-411 was based upon the Bell 206.
When K.I.T.T. reverses out of the F.L.A.G. truck at coming up to the 37 minute mark, the image is reversed, as evidenced by the backwards Knight Industries chess piece logo on the truck, and also K.I.T.T. now appears to be right hand drive, with Michael sat on the right.
When KITT micro jams the engine SX-411 all sounds stop and go. But when a helicopter's engine stops the main and tail rotors are freewheeling, continue to make their individual sounds and allow the craft to make a safe landing in a mode called autorotation.
When the mechanic tries to pop one of K.I.T.T.'s tires and bends his awl in the process, it is visible on one of K.I.T.T.'s displays at an angle that couldn't possibly have come from a camera mounted inside the car.
When Ms. Clermont swaps out for Mr. Knight in driving K.I.T.T., Mr. Knight can clearly be seen from the pursuing car in the gap between the tractor and trailer of the Mobile Headquarters, which defeats the purpose of swapping out since the pursuers would thereafter know that it is him driving and not Ms. Clermont.
