Towards the end, Kojak enters a boat yard in Staten Island. A boat stored on land there has a California registration number beginning with "CF". While it's possible a boat from California would be in New York, it's highly unlikely. The registration number should begin with "NY".
At the beginning Larry is shown counting the money in the envelop which contains five $1,000 bills. All bills over $100 were withdrawn from circulation in the mid 1960's, and those bills would have been non-negotiable.
Kojak leaves a tape recorder in Ma Wonderly's office to record her phone conversation. He listens later, hearing both ends of the conversation. But since Ma was using the handset instead of the speaker, this would have made it impossible for Kojak to have heard what the other person said.
In Ma Wonderly's office, she tells Kojak she would like to "set back her speedometer," meaning she would like to go back to her younger years. That would be the odometer, which registers mileage, not the speedometer, which reads the speed.
