The man who identifies the second victim says that he'd always "call her Judy, Judy, Judy just like Cary Grant." This is a reference to at the time popular misconception that Cary Grant's famous catchphrase was "Judy, Judy, Judy." There has been much speculation about the origin of this myth. Director Peter Bogdanovich suggested that it's a misquote from Grant's hit film Only Angels Have Wings, where Grant has conversations with a character named Judy and often calls her by her name. Another explanation is that it may have been one of the lines Grant used in 1955 on Lux Radio Theater to introduced one of the guests, Judy Garland. Grant himself suggested that perhaps a celebrity impersonator by the name of Larry Storch greeted Judy Garland in Grant's voice when she walked into the nightclub while he was doing a bit, and it caught on. Whatever its true origin may be, this misconception eventually became part of pop culture, which meant that, even in his old age, Grant was still being asked by his fans to do the bit, and he'd usually oblige them.
