  Ed Hicks : You're taking money on the false pretenses. That's call stealing!

  Judge Paul Hansen : Mr. Hamman, you kindly advised your client as to the manner in which to conduct himself.

  Ed Hicks : Hang on, Your Honor. I'm not gonna take lessons in any etiquette from some guy who selling me down the river.

  Sam Hamman : You think I selling you down the river, Ed?

  Ed Hicks : Yes. I think you selling me down the river. I think you're more interested in closing up to a big famous baseball star than you are providing me with adequate representation!

  Sam Hamman : Your Honor, at this time, I would ask to be relieved as Mr. Hicks' counsel.

  Jonathan Rollins : Whoa, whoa. Your Honor, we have been through delay. After delay, after delay.

  Sam Hamman : I can assure you, that's not my intention.

  Jonathan Rollins : It may not be intention, but that is the effect. Your Honor, we are now into the baseball season. My client's practices been disruptive as performances on the field has been effective. Mr. Hicks has been through four different attorneys. Each time, he gets a new one. He buys himself for another delay.

  Judge Paul Hansen : Mr. Rollins is absolutely right. Mr. Hamman, I'm not going to allow you to withdraw.
