Some poetic justice
bkoganbing17 February 2017
Joe Verros who played a ranch hand for the Sherman ranch and a former scout for General Roy Roberts is murdered by rancher James Westerfield in an unusual manner. When Westerfield boasts about it to John Smith he's arrested on Smith's complaint, but getting him to trial is another matter.

Westerfield's raised some equally vicious and bottom feeding sons. Harry Lauter is a gunfighter and a nasty braggart and bully.

Roy Roberts's character is based obviously on Oliver O. Howard with missing arm, Howard was known as the Christian general. They should have used his real name.

In the end Westerfield and family get some poetic justice.

One of the better Laramie episodes; and there were many.
