It's all happening at the Montecito, where there is a wedding ceremony being planned for 24 couples all at the same time, which keeps Mary occupied, and it is especially hard work for a couple of first-time visitors to Las Vegas from Minnesota. Danny finds himself working one of his most difficult assignments when he is asked by a high roller from China, Mr Zhao, to keep an eye on his two daughters, who are tabloid darlings, and make sure they don't get into any trouble. A task that is complicated by the appearance of an assassin with some throwing stars and a desire, it seems, to cut short Mr Zhao's life. That requires a bit of sleuthing on Danny's part. Also, Mike saves an exotic dancer from pretty much certain death at the hands of an un-rushing semi trailer, and that act of good Samaritanism is rewarded with a law suit, which the Montecito lawyer wants to settle. Ed does some by-proxy sleuthing of his own to assist Mike, who, obviously, isn't happy with that outcome.
The Danny/Mary ending hints that there's definitely some feeling still left between the childhood sweethearts.
