In the 4th season there were two episodes centered around Laverne The Bully Show and The Chorus Line now it's Shirley's turn. She hangs out with a rich older gentleman which makes Carmine jealous. He's upset he can't afford to take her to fancy places. Carmine and Shirley obviously love each other.
