- To impress the older boys, Beaver makes up a story about a real, live Indian fight that occurred across the street from the Cleaver house a hundred years ago and bets Eddie Haskell a dollar fifty that it really happened. But Beaver knows he's in trouble when Eddie and the boys show up with shovels to prove him wrong ... until they find what they think are valuable gems.—shepherd1138
- Beaver wants so much to be like one of the big guys. So when Eddie tells fanciful tales of treasure hunting in South America and all the other big guys listen intently, Beaver can't help but pipe up with a story of his own about Indians having battles in front of their house 200 years ago. Eddie calls Beaver out on the validity of the story, betting $1.50 on its truth based on finding arrowheads and other artifacts on the vacant lot across the street. Wally knows the Beaver was lying so to help his little brother and get out from paying Eddie the $1.50 (as the money would have to come from Wally), they plan on burying fake Indian artifacts on the lot before Eddie, Tooey and Chester come over with shovels in hand. Although they all deep down know that Beaver was lying, they lose track of that when they find what they believe to be precious stones while they are digging, which they would not have found if it wasn't for Beaver's fake story. Beaver relishes his new big guy hero status. They want to keep the issue of the gems quiet for the time being, but will Beaver be able to contain his excitement and is it really a secret worth keeping?—Huggo
