In the Prohibition era flashbacks, Lane Smith imitates Sean Connery's voice when playing Lt. Moore, in reference to Connery's performance as Jim Malone in The Untouchables (1987).
This is Tracy Scoggins' final appearance as Cat Grant on the series given that she does not appear in the two remaining Season One episodes Barbarians at the Planet (1994) and The House of Luthor (1994). The character was dropped without explanation in Season Two and was never subsequently mentioned.
