Three outlaws rob the bank in Jarvis, but The Ranger wounds one of them in the right arm. Tonto gets grazed by a bullet and The Ranger uses up all their medical supplies in patching him up. They go to a nearby ranch owned by Dr. Doyle to replenish their medical kit. While there, The Ranger notices a silver bullet on a table. The doctor refuses to say much about it. That's because his step-son Howard was involved with the robbery and it was his arm that the bullet was removed from. This will be a tough case for our heroes to crack. Mason Alan Dinehart plays Howard. In a couple of years, he would be a regular on the western series, "The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp," playing Bat Masterson. A wavy-haired rather young looking Roy Roberts is Dr. Doyle. And that's none other than Dennis Weaver playing one of the outlaws. So that's what Chester did before he drifted over to Dodge City and went to work for Marshal Matt Dillon! Glad that running into The Lone Ranger caused him to rehabilitate himself.
