Lois Lane: Outlaw
hogwrassler28 July 2020
This is one of the best Lone Ranger episodes, despite the absence of Jay Silverheels. He had suffered a heart attack and wasn't ready to resume filming yet. Temporarily, Chuck Courtney as the Ranger's nephew Dan Reid, takes over as second in command of the Lone Ranger Legion. The Ranger explains that Tonto has a fever and is being cared for by a padre who is a friend of theirs. Phyllis Coates looks great in a white mask and cowboy hat. She is the leader of an outlaw gang striking at one particular mining company. The reasons for that eventually become clear and reveal that she and her brother may not be the villains they are supposed to be. Phyllis Coates made a real impression as the first TV Lois Lane, and she is quite good here also. Be sure to watch this episode when you can.
