Putting the pieces back together
Paularoc6 May 2013
Warning: Spoilers
Mike Longstreet is given a hallucination inducing drug and then dumped on a salvage ship. The culprits are sure he will fall to his death trying to get out of the ship. But he doesn't and slowly and painfully he recovers from the effects of the drug. Both he and Paige are convinced that there is a connection between his kidnapping and a trial that Mike is scheduled to testify at. As the drug wears off, Mike is able to remember some valuable clues to his drugging and kidnapping and he and his seeing eye dog, Pax, corner the lead bad guy. Tyne Daly, in a part ten years prior to her stint on the Cagney and Lacey show, does a good job as the frightened and weak nurse, Marcella. And seeing Wesley Lau as a Defense Attorney was cool. For me, he'll always be Lt. Andy Anderson on the Perry Mason show. But the real kudos go to James Franciscus. He does a wonderful job depicting Longstreet's grappling with the effects of the drug and it's aftermath.

Routine 70's episode

Warning: Spoilers
I don't think this TV show has ever been released in France at this time, the seventies. As far it were, I don't remember it. So that's the first time I watch this series. Well, nothing exceptional here, but I rather like the seventies atmosphere. The settings, stories, characters and James Franciscus is here at his peak. I guess the french audiences would have liked this character. As another user said, you can think of Raymond Burr in IRONSIDE TV show; the only difference is that Burr was not blind but paralysed, in a wheel chair.

I will watch all the episodes I have in DVD. But I don't think I will comment them all. Concerning this one, the topic has already been told in the plot line above. Nthing spcial to add. Period.
