And they call it robot love...
The robot falls in love with an alluring fembot that turns out to be a remorseless killer wanted by the Zeta Galaxy Law Enforcement Bureau. The anthropomorphising of the loyal B9 into a lovable sidekick for Will and a lovable frenemy for Smith is now complete as the robot is forced into the maudlin choice between his adopted space-family and (what promptly became) the love of his life. The episode is a silly as the synopsis suggests. Once again the plot is full of inconsistencies (can the aliens destroy the deadly gyno-droid or can they not?) and the premise of a love-struck robot leads to a lot of risible dialogue. Other than an amusing Ron Gans as a pointy-eared alien enforcement officer, 'The Deadliest of the Species' does not have much to recommend it.
