- Jimmy Hapgood: Well, how about that! Then you're all just like me, ain't ya? You're as lost as a wood tick on a bald mountain.
- Will Robinson: Bet you were surprised to see us.
- Jimmy Hapgood: Oh, I'm not too surprised to find people, son.
- Will Robinson: What ARE you surprised at?
- Jimmy Hapgood: Well, I'll tell ya: Finding things that you know can't exist but do. Happenin's that'd put your heart up in your mouth and your blood down your toes. Livin' things that breathe in fire and swim in ice.
- Dr. Zachary Smith: [invited to join the scouting party] Me? Out there? Defenseless?
- Prof. John Robinson: Oh, we all have our guns.
- Dr. Zachary Smith: What use are they going to be against a monster who eats electrons for breakfast?
- Dr. Zachary Smith: [hanging onto Will] Don't be afraid, Will. Just, uh... keep calm.
- Will Robinson: I am.
- Dr. Zachary Smith: You see, these alien creatures may be very terrifying. You mustn't panic, you know. And don't tremble.
- Will Robinson: I'm not, YOU are.
- Jimmy Hapgood: Say, if you fellas are still mad at me, just say so and I'll leave.
- Prof. John Robinson: We're not angry. Least I'm not.
- Jimmy Hapgood: [to Don] You still mad?
- Maj. Don West: No. I'm just sorry I didn't hit you any harder.
- Jimmy Hapgood: Was a pretty good fight, wasn't it?
- Maj. Don West: [grinning] Yeah. That it was.
- Dr. Zachary Smith: [as everyone gazes at the image on the scanner] I hope it's not one of those alien monstrosities.
- Maj. Don West: It's no pigeon, that's for sure.
- [Hapgood is injured]
- Maureen Robinson: [to Judy] Get Dr. Smith.
- Judy Robinson: Mother, I wish now I hadn't hit him.
- Maureen Robinson: Well, just get Dr. Smith.
- Judy Robinson: D'you think he'll be able to leave today?
- Maureen Robinson: Well, we'll know as soon as Dr. Smith examines him.
