Social Worker of the Seven Seas

Warning: Spoilers
An old man is lavishing his wife with presents. Where did he get the money? Jan Brady is here on her honeymoon. A suspicious pair of, uh, Italian-looking men are in the room next to them. They're here to make sure Jan Brady is taken care of. Our groom can't shake them. Tell me, why do I watch The Love Boat if Jan Brady wears swimsuits from Queen Victoria's era? To be fair, the white dress is much better. Captain Stubing's custody of Vicki is going to be decided. He's worried. He's dressed her up in a 'weird outfit.' 'I feel like Shirley Temple,' Vicki says. The crew has to run around trying to impress the social worker. (I want to be the social worker who works cruise ships.) I can tolerate Vicki in small doses, but this is way too much. This one is very standard. Jan Brady's guards don't raise even a chuckle. On Kafka's Love Boat Scale, this episode gets 2 * out of a possible 4 *.
