If I wasn't watching The Love Boat, I'd be watching wrestling episodes from 1993. You have to make choices. 'I guess the reason that I'm single is that I'm not cool.' I can relate, Buddy. Buddy Hackett is a cab driver, bringing Arlene Golonka to the boat. She's got an extra ticket, and he's invited along. 'Are you just looking for an ending to your book?' she asks. Captain Stubing meets a dancer, and he mentions his nephew, who's studying dance. (Nice callback there.) The dancer meets her ex-partner and his new girl. It's a whole thing. I can't pretend to understand ballet or ballet people. Susan Sullivan is Dr. Bradford. Doc isn't felling well. Ol' Doc Bradford is going to give him a complete examination. Now he's got to pretend to be sick to get the doctor's attention! Maybe she wants to, uh, play a game of backgammon? Captain Stubing shows off his computer. The ballet thing is novel, but this is standard stuff. On Kafka's Love Boat Scale, this episode gets 2 1/2 * out of a possible 4 *.
