Klinger is eating a jeep. Meanwhile, the boys in the swamp are doing the New York Times Crossword Puzzle. They have one word left. The Yiddish name for a bedbug. Hawkeye calls a guy on a ship who is an expert on Crossword Puzzles. He is in surgery so they leave a message that it is urgent they talk to him. Well, he misunderstands and thinks he needs to head for the MASH unit. He also brings an Admiral with him. This, of course, isn't good. While the chips are falling, a couple truckloads of civilians who have been burned in an accident show up. A decent episode with Hawkeye having egg on his face. Klinger ends up in the hospital weighing a few extra pounds.

Ron Kolman is Shapiro

Ron Kolman makes his one and appearance as Shapiro. He's an important character because Hawkeye needs to know the Yiddish word for bedbug for a NYT crossword. However Shapiro admits his Georgian roots (Georgia, American State, not Georgia, former Soviet republic) is more prevalent.
