The Mail Stirs the Pot
Hitchcoc2 April 2015
Just a series of vignettes based on people's mail, all delivered the same day. Margaret gets a condescending letter from her mother in law. Radar finds out his widowed mother is going out with some guy. B. J. is all bent out of shape because his wife is having to make life decisions on her own (like who to go to to fix the car), Hawkeye is getting amorous letters from a guy who shares his name and rank, and Klinger is asked for a divorce by his wife. All these things are dealt with. Klinger's thing is probably the most serious, but because of his boy-calling-wolf activities in the past, he gets no sympathy. A pretty tame episode.

Warning: Spoilers
I like this era of M*A*S*H, and it's hard to see how Frank Burns could have fitted in. Anyway, here BJ is concerned his wife is being hit upon by a neighbor, and sadly Klinger's wife sends him a Dear John letter. Not fair. Still, I like this episode a lot, and great to see the gang (although Margaret was missing) at the end sharing a drink.
