Corporal Klinger (Jamie Farr) mentions his neighborhood cross streets in his hometown of Toledo, Ohio: Michigan and Galena. Farr himself grew up in this area, which today features a park named after him.
Corporal Klinger and Danker talk about the Trianon in Toledo. The Trianon Ballrooms were a chain of ballrooms throughout the United States and were popular during America's Big Band era. The Trianon Ballroom in Toledo, built in 1925, was located on Madison Avenue. The Trianon featured a 60 foot by 180 foot dance floor and a night of dancing cost 25 cents. Good behavior was demanded and enforced, and if a patron misbehaved, they would be banned from the Trianon for life. The Toledo Trianon was demolished in 1954.
