A soldier is seen reading a copy of Sports Illustrated magazine. The magazine did not start publication until 1954, after the Korean War was already over.
After Hawkeye and Trapper exposed the film, the entire print of "Yankee Doodle Doctor" had to be re-shot. Yet with Hawkeye and Trapper in complete control of the re-filming, it makes no sense that they would have Maj. Burns redo his narration for the new print. since he is their arch-adversary and could only make trouble during the re-shoot. (And they certainly did not have the technology on hand to preserve Maj. Burns' narration from the original print and transfer it to the new one.)
When Henry is introducing 1LT Bricker to Hawkeye, Trapper John, and Frank Burns in the Swamp, Frank asks if Bricker is a fellow surgeon. But any Army doctor - -especially one as gung-ho as Frank -- would know that surgeons are commissioned as captains. So, Frank should have known upon introduction that Bricker couldn't have been a surgeon.
Also, Bricker did not have medical insignia on the collar of his Class A uniform, which also should have informed Frank that Bricker was not a surgeon.
