Magnum and his Friends are always arguing when there are only small things at stake but when it really matters they work together like a well oiled machine. Dana Hill guest stars in Basket Case. I remember Dana Hill when she voiced Charles in the underrated 90s animation comedy series Duckman. Anyway, here is Dana Hill playing a basketballer who gives Magnum and the rest of his team a run for their money.
There is a spirit of Bad News Bears in this one, hence the title of my review, Let them play, and this episode has its charms with Higgins befriending Hill's character even if we think it's against his better judgement. Anyway, I'm enjoying watching the early seasons of Magnum, along with Father Brown, Law and Order and Poirot for daytime viewing.

There is a story of a streetwise girl with basketball skill, and team Magnum needs a star player against T C team. Robin Master team is represented by Magnum. Well there is a side story with the streetwise gal. Will the gal make the right choice> A sweet kid story for the younger fans. Well written and directed. Still a sappy story. 6 stars.
