Magnum and espionage

Warning: Spoilers
Higgins could not resist wearing his business suit in the Carole Kai Annual Bed Race (which is a real race just in case you're wondering!) and he's sweating non-stop at the end. It's a scary look and it's a shame he didn't wear appropriate attire.

Magnum helps out a former admiral buddy who tries to crack an espionage case, and guess what, it's the admiral's son who is the spy.

Dennis Haysbert makes a guest appearance, and Charlene Blaine plays the Bed Race Girl, an uncredited role listed in imdb.

I like Magnum, P. I., and really I have no interest in the reboot with due respect to the rebooters.

Still a better show than the reboot but wow, the writing seems to be getting weaker...

I really like that this show dealt with a bit more genres and we see Magnum back in the Navi dealing with what could have been his debute in Espionage movies.

But this episode was just too rushed or maybe too simple or didn't make a lot of sense at all.

It rushed through most if not most of the plot points and we never get a good story other than: "I don't know... the script said so."

There was a guy right in the middle of the story that had some mild role. I was honestly expecting them to be the spy but someone in the writing room must have brought out the PC handbook and said: "it would look bad if we did that."

I am honestly not upset about the whole episode. Just the ending, the ending was weak to me.
