Malcolm in the Middle has always been an amazingly produced TV show. It's one of those rare programs in which all the principle actors are perfect for their parts, the story line speaks to the middle class, they are inclusive of all races and minorities and the music and special effects are perfectly suited for the episode.
There are more speaking parts with extras, more locations, more situations, more tricks than any comedy program I've ever seen on television. In "Dewey's Opera," they reached a new high. With a multifaceted and clever story, a terrific opera sequence, excellent action scenes, old fashion visual comedy,funny characters and a cute ending--it is truly a television comedy masterpiece.
