The private detective that was following Mannix was named Anthony Spinner. Anthony Spinner is also the name one of the producers of Cannon (1971).
The cast list (and the name tag on his shirt) shows the police chief is Graebner, but the glass office door shows the police chief's name is Arthur Burke. Mannix addresses him as "Chief".
The title is from the nursery rhyme 'Sing a Song of Six Pence'.
This is one of the few episodes where Mannix wears a herringbone jacket instead of the checked jackets that are most often worn.
