Sandy, can't you see, I'm in misery?
After his Uncle Joe dies, Al attempts to make a will, but doesn't have anything to bequeath to Bud. He decides to leave his son the ball from the game where he made four touchdowns for Polk High. The only problem is that he gave the ball to Sandy Jorgenson, the cheerleader he was Bundyfying at the time.
Al eventually tracks down Sandy and pays her a visit, and this is where the fun really begins.
Wendie Jo Sperber as Sandy is incredibly funny: just try to keep a straight face as she attempts to seduce Al, dances crazily with him, and jumps on his back to give him a massage. It doesn't help that Sandy has piled on the pounds since her days in the squad and Al wants nothing other than to retrieve his ball.
When Sandy understands the reason for Al's visit, she throws the ball to him, making him fall off her balcony. After all of this trouble, Al decides to keep the ball for himself, leaving Bud a baseball card in his will instead.
By coincidence (or perhaps not), Sperber was an uncredited dancer in the 1978 movie Grease, in which Olivia Newton John played Sandy Olsson.
