The Beach Episode!
Sylviastel30 May 2009
When Steve and Marcy decide to go to the beach for the first nice day of spring or summer, they leave an envelope for the guy that Steve hit with his Mercedes. Steve cowards and pleads poverty by giving the guy, the Bundys' address. So when the guy comes by to collect insurance information, he is going to get a nasty note from the Bundys. Because in the envelope is a $100, so what do the Bundys do but take it and spend it and go to the beach. At the beach, Al meets an old girlfriend played by Morgan Brittany. Bud and Kelly each bet that they can get a date by the end of the beach day. All Al really wants is a family picture of him and the kids. It's a good episode.

A Bundy day at the beach!
BA_Harrison30 September 2022
It makes a nice change for the show to occasionally move the action to a location other than the Bundys' house. As a long-time Christina Applegate fan, I particularly applaud the decision to set this one at the beach, thereby allowing Kelly to put on a bikini. Hubba hubba.

Not only to we get to ogle lovely Ms Bundy in a two-piece, but the beach is also teeming with other babes, none of whom are safe from Bud Bundy, who is hoping to score, having made a bet with his sister. Amazingly, Bud does manage to find a girlfriend, but the age difference could be a problem...

Al also gets the opportunity to score with a babe -- ex-flame Marilyn Beamis (Morgan Brittany), who invites him to have sex with her -- but he declines, admitting that he actually likes his family.

In addition to all the quality babeage on display, this episode features some really funny dialogue, my favourite being this exchange between Peggy and Al: "Honey, take a picture of me so that you can remember me when I was beautiful." "What? You're going to get worse?"
