Peggy wants to be reunion queen!
Sylviastel28 May 2009
Al and Peggy's reunion is coming up and she desperately wants to beat her nemesis, Connie Bender, played beautifully by Lisa Ragio (from Private Benjamin series). She telephones all of her allies all over the world to count on their votes but Connie plays dirty and invites a few Japanese exchange students to the reunion by withholding their passports. Of course, Peggy's reunion is met with her usual dis tractors. More often, Peggy had stolen some of the girls' boyfriends and even a father. They were supporting Connie for Queen. Al promises not to get into a fight with his friend. All the while, Kelly and Bud are starving and want to eat. They decide to crash the reunion and ask Steve and Marcy Rhoades for advice on life in the 1960s.

Wanker vs. Bender Part 1
BA_Harrison30 September 2022
Was the writer of this episode English? Surely it wasn't a coincidence that the surnames Wanker and Bender are rude words in good old Blighty. One thing's for sure, every time those names were mentioned, I couldn't help but laugh, a good job because this episode is fairly light on real gags.

Peggy convinces Al to go with her to the high school reunion where she hopes to be voted 'Reunion Queen'. To help her chances, she buys a $500 dress and calls up all of her old classmates to ensure their votes. At the reunion, Peggy meets her old rival, Connie Bender, who is also aiming to become reunion queen. Despite her best efforts, it looks like Peggy is one vote short...

This is the first half of a two part story: I hope the second part delivers some genuine laughs, but failing that I'd like hear the surnames Wanker and Bender mentioned at least a few more times...
