You Won't Stop Laughing!

Al has an invention where he gets Kelly to wear shoes with lights on them for an upcoming shoe convention in town. While Al, Peggy, and Kelly are dealing with Al's latest get rich quick scheme to earn money and respect from even his own peers, Bud and his two male friends played by Giovanni Ribisi and Stephen Dorff get dates with girls. They find that without Bud there that they can make friends with girls. So Bud has to come up with a girl and quick plan for a triple couple date. He gets a crazy idea by getting a mannequin who he names Monique. I can't stop thinking about him getting Monique upstairs without getting caught. It's one of the funniest scenes in the whole series.

Bud the stud.

The Dateless Amigo is one of season three's funnier episodes.

Bud's friends have dates, but he doesn't. Rather than admit this, he pretends to have a girlfriend and agrees to hold a make out party. In desperation, he dresses up a mannequin, calls her Monique, dims the lights and hopes that his 'amigos' don't realise the truth.

Meanwhile, Al and Peggy attend the yearly shoe convention, where Al shows off the invention that he hopes will make him a millionaire: shoe lights!

This one has loads of great scenes: Steve Rhoades telling Al about his own great idea, the 99 cent coin ("...but what about tax?"); Kelly demonstrating the shoe lights ("No wonder I seek the shelter of a stranger's arms"), and best of all, Bud trying to take Monique upstairs, his plastic girlfriend falling to pieces in the process -- a great piece of physical comedy by David Faustino.

Also, if Bud's friends look familiar it's because they're played by teenage Giovanni Ribisi (Avatar) and teenage Stephen Dorff (Blade).
