All Alone with a Loan is Lonely
Hitchcoc11 February 2017
Rhoda has a green thumb. She decides to make use of her talent and begin a plant business. But she needs about a thousand dollars and hits Mary up for it. She agrees, but it's painful. So as time goes by, she realizes that Rhoda has completely forgotten the loan, not even talking about it. There is some funny stuff that goes on at the car dealership where Mary routinely brings her car. The manager and the mechanics are so enamored with her wheels that they come out to see if she is as classy as her car. This is one of those episodes where you wonder if what happens is really alright. There is one really funny story that Lou tells about his youth and his purchase of a plant. Hilarious.

Not a lemon

Well done funny episode.

Mary toys with buying a new car. When she decides against it, Rhoda instead asks to borrow the money to start a plant business. Business is soon booming but there's no sign of the loan being repaid.

There are nice scenes for all the regulars, the welcome return of Georgette, and some fun guest stars too.
