During the bedroom scene, it shows Leanne on the right side of the bed turning on the lamp. Next view has Gil on the right side of the bed, Leanne on the left.
Leanne wants Gil to take a lie detector test before her commitment to represent him. He takes the lie detector test at the police station, which a competent defense attorney would never allow. If Gil had flunked the lie detector test it would shine even more light on him for the police. Leanne should have had a private company administer the lie detector test.
Gil shows up at the crime scene where his partner has been murdered and the on-scene detective allows him not only to enter the room while the Crime Scene Unit Technician is collecting evidence, he allows him to sit in a chair in the room. No detective would ever allow anyone into the crime scene like this until the room had been processed except for the CSI Unit personnel.
