Season 2 Was repetitive predictable and boring.
All episodes start the same and end the same.
1. The episodes start off with some argument or motivation to kill
2. The accused is always framed at the scene of the crime 9 times out of 10 times.
3. Matlock and crew do their digging and investigating
3.5. Matlock loves hotdogs.
4. Last person to testify is always the one that is the real killer.
4.5 Matlock and the persecutor have a friendly, romantic relationship that no one cares about.
5. Matlock wins 9.5 times out of 10.
People in the 80's were probably really stupid. A show like Matlock in today's world would not last more than 3 episodes to the least.
The show was to predictable, fun but yet lacked suspense and mystery because the last person to testify is the person who had killed the victim.
And the real suspects never skip town.
The characters who didn't do it always act as if they did. I recommend this show to those that like mystery.
