There is no ocean anywhere near Atlanta. There is no beach to run on, no beachside restaurant to see the man with the broken hand, and no pier with waves lapping peacefully against it as they walk into the closing credits.
Leanne spends a lot of time running on the beach, talking with Ben near the pier, and visiting a beachside restaurant with Kevin. They live in Atlanta. Atlanta is hours away from the coast.
2 times character Leanne referred to the break-in as a robbery, a defense attorney would know the distinct difference between burglary and robbery, the 3rd time she finally said burglary which is the correct crime considering nobody was home, no weapon or force against the home owner was used.
At the end Leanne tells Kevin that she doesn't care how long it takes, she's going to get him. Considering that when he broke in he wasn't wearing gloves, his fingerprints would have been everywhere. In fact, when the police are investigating the break-in, a detective is shown dusting the window where he broke in. All Leanne had to do was call the police and they would have him.
Although perhaps not necessarily a story error, but a stretch that Leanne would go into the house with Kevin after finding out who he was and the kind of "work" that he had been doing. Seems like if she knew he had lied to her, there was no way of knowing how dangerous of a man he really was to confront him inside of his home with no guarantee that she would just walk out.
The character Kevin Gilliam is played by Brett Cullen. At the beginning when Greg (David Lenthall) knocks on Kevin's door, he calls out "David," which is the actor's name. From then on he calls him by the character's name of Kevin.
