In this entertaining episode, PT-73 is having engine trouble. It has got so bad that the engines are going to have to be taken off line and given proper repair at a naval base. But what this does is give Binghamton ammunition where he can get the boat declared inoperative and break up the crew of McHale.
Of course McHale's crew is not going down without a fight when suddenly electrical parts from all over the base come up missing. Binghamton suspects, and properly may we add, that McHale's crew is trying to get the 73 back working. With the inspector set to arrive at the base the next day, Binghamton puts all McHale's crew into the brig and cannot want till morning when the boat is inspected and PT 73 will be no more.
There was some nice scenes in this episode as things on the base started going haywire as the crew was taking everything in site. This made for good comedy and an interesting watch. A good script that was entertaining in more ways than one.
