Storyline

When Jodi receives a mysterious chain letter, she discards it immediately. After all, superstition is something this country girl has no time for. But that could be about to change, for the scattered pieces of the letter have barely hit the compost when Becky announces that the cattle are sick. Further misfortune soon strikes Drovers, with Terry falling ill and the discovery of a dead sheep. Could Jodi have inadvertently cursed the farm? The lie of being the father of Claire's baby continues to complicate Alex's life - especially with the local women who want nothing to do with him now that he has supposedly left Claire. To help restore his good name, Alex decides to throw a party to spread the word that he's not an impending father and is very much available. Meanwhile, Tess wants to know what has caused Dave's behaviour to change so suddenly. He's standoffish and reluctant to talk but eventually open up and reveals it is the anniversary of his wife's passing and he is still ...

The writers take a break and create a totally unrealistic chain of events ... people that perpetuate chain letters should be hung out to dry
