It's not very merry, but that's what's so good about it. From what I remember, season 6 got dragged down by that particularly awful Kyle centric episode, and the whole Christine debacle. But it's still fun to watch somehow... The way strangers become randomly devious, isn't very great either. Connie, the guy Lexi « ran over » and even Coop and Jennifer, to some extent. Some look too cartoonish doing it. Fortunately for Coop, Lindsey Ashby is a good actor, so he can make his character strangely sympathetic. After opening for the second time this season, with a McCartney song (on the TV version, unfortunately), the episode goes wild, when Lexi has a drug overdose, after Jennifer blackmailed her. Taylor tried desperately to get Kyle back, by lying about losing the money they made hosting that Jon Secada « Christmas » concert. And Michael gets mad, when Megan files for divorce. The way everyone turned on him was funny, and to be honest, he deserved it. Megan kind of gets on my nerves, but I love the part where Michael asks her to give all his presents back, and she refuses to give up the birdies... Like I said, this Connie thing is desperate, and like Jane's biological mother plot in season 5. I don't see the point in this storyline. Lexi and Peter trying to cover up the accident, was a good story, but it's clear the guy did it on purpose. My favorite part, is the end scene, where Michael throws the talking Christmas tree in the pool, with « rejected » Amanda not knowing, and not caring either, why he did it.
