Enters Lexi Sterling...

Warning: Spoilers
She wasn't at her best yet, but she's by far my favorite Melrose Place character. I love how strong and vulnerable she is. She was a more upfront Amanda Woodward, who made mistakes and knew when to stop. Season 6 is more fun, less drama. It's a little messy, with plots that drag on for too long. But it has a lighter tone, and a better soundtrack. I like the Jazz club, and even though I prefer next season's pop artists. It has a classy setting and relaxing music. It was a welcoming change from Shooter's hustle and bustle. I like this episode in particular, not only for introducing Lexi, but also for the comic reliefs, when Michael tries juggling between Taylor and Megan. Amanda reaching out to Craig, was a nice moment too. But it was clear he wouldn't accept defeat. And to be frank, the episode didn't help making her more sympathetic. When her former « boss » bought her way to the top, again. Peter's warning to Kyle, was so spot on, even back then... The way Jennifer is following Craig around, is pathetic. But she's just there to get men she can't have, apparently. Coop, Kimberly's ex-lover/doctor, is my least favorite season 6 addition, and the fact that Megan dates him afterwards, made her look stupid. She became so goody two shoes and self righteous lately, it annoys me. Peter however, is at his best this season. Not only did he nail Taylor to the wall, and found a compromise with Michael. But he has a fitting new love interest... Sam and Billy drama, are other downsides of this first half of sixth year, for me. And it was obvious their couple would not make it either.
