Peter Watts is investigating the case of a murder of a man in accordance with satanist ritual and calls Frank Black to help him. Frank refuses the case since he is still recovering from the murder of Bletch in his home. Peter sees a man through the window on the ledge of the second floor of the house, but he vanishes, and nobody sees him. Catherine convinces Frank to help Peter, and he shows a picture of the man among the people that is watching the crime scene. In a park, a man named Martin is arrested after slicing the throat of a babysitter, and Frank believes he might be connected to Bleatch's murder. Soon his defense lawyer Alistair "Al" Pepper arrives at the precinct and soon the evidence disappears from the evidence room. Pepper invites Frank to be his partner in his office, but Frank refuses. During the audience in court, Martin claims that he killed Bletch. Meanwhile, Mike Atkins from the Millennium Group receives a phone call from someone impersonating Frank. When Martin uses a razor blade to slice his own throat and dies, the coroner informs that the cause of death was an aneurysm. But Mike is murdered, and Frank chases a man that might have killed him, increasing the mysterious murders.
"Powers, Principalities, Thrones and Dominions" is a surreal episode of "Millennium", with an intriguing story. Now Bletch and Mike have gone, and "Millennium" seems to be shifting the genre from a suspenseful police story to something supernatural, or at least surrealist. The plot seems to be the beginning of something bigger in the life of Frank Castle and his family. My vote is eight.
Title (Brazil): "Powers, Principalities, Thrones and Dominions"
