Michael Anthony : Asphalt, sir?
John Beresford Tipton : You know, Mike, some people come to this country and expect to find the streets paved with gold.
Michael Anthony : You mean immigrants?
John Beresford Tipton : Yes. And once they set foot on the shore, they realize that it's a slight exaggeration.
Michael Anthony : No doubt, sir.
John Beresford Tipton : However, I've decided that one immigrant shall find the story true, at least for him.
[Tipton hands an envelope to Anthony]
John Beresford Tipton : Here's the name of our next millionaire.

Michael Anthony : [to the viewers] My name is Michael Anthony. For many years, I was confidential secretary to a multibillionaire named John Beresford Tipton. That's right, I said billionaire. Looks like this.
[Anthony holds up to viewers a placard that reads $1,000,000,000. Using a marker, Anthony then crosses off the last three zeros, again displaying the placard to the viewers]
Michael Anthony : This is only a million. I guess we all know someone who would like to have a million. I knew a considerable number who got that much from my employer. It was John Beresford Tipton's quaint hobby to give $1,000,000 to people to see what they did with it - or what it did to them. This is Silverstone, where I lived with Mr. Tipton when he was alive.
