  Michael Anthony : You are Mrs. Bryan?

  Tom Bryan : [Becoming angry]  Listen, you, I don't know what your bosses think I know, but I don't know anything.

  Michael Anthony : Mr. Bryan, believe me. This gift is from an anonymous donor who has not ever been associated with you in the past.

  Tom Bryan : Yeah, well, you tell your anonymous donor that there's no point in his trying to buy my silence because I've got nothing to talk about.

  Betsy Bryan : You heard my husband. Why don't you leave?

  Michael Anthony : Mrs. Bryan, Mr. Bryan, please accept my word there are no strings attached to this money.

  [Displaying the check] 

  Michael Anthony : It's a cashier's check for a million dollars.

  Tom Bryan : [Examining check]  A million dollars? Who would give me a million dollars?

  Michael Anthony : I can't answer that, sir. All I can say is that the money is yours, free and clear, to do with as you wish,

  [Displaying a document he has removed from his briefcase] 

  Michael Anthony : provided you satisfy one condition.

  Tom Bryan : Like what?

  Michael Anthony : Just sign this document

  [Hands agreement to the Bryans, who read it] 

  Tom Bryan : There's nothing in this. All I do is pledge myself not to reveal the exact amount of the gift to anyone except to my wife, or discuss with anyone how I got it. If I do, I forfeit what's left. That's all?

  Michael Anthony : That is all, Mr. Bryan. Now, if you're ready to sign the agreement.

  Tom Bryan : A million dollars.

  [Chuckles] 

  Tom Bryan : One million dollars. Free and clear.

  [to Betsy] 

  Tom Bryan : Betsy, this guy is giving us a million dollars.

  Betsy Bryan : It's like a miracle, Tom.

  Tom Bryan : Give me that paper!
