Lady Elaine Fairchilde : [Lady Elaine is having a "found" objects exhibit] First, the Westwood sign.
Mayor Maggie : I claim it.
Lady Elaine Fairchilde : You claim it? Okay, here you are.
[Refuses to let go as Mayor Maggie tries to take it]
Lady Elaine Fairchilde : Say "thank you'.
Mayor Maggie : You didn't say "please' when you took it!
Lady Elaine Fairchilde : Oh, I'll say it right now. Please?
Mayor Maggie : Thank you!
-
Lady Elaine Fairchilde : [Lady Elaine has a "found" objects exhibit] Okay now I'll get the next one.
[Exits then enters carrying a refrigerator]
Lady Elaine Fairchilde : This is a heavy thing. Here it is, a fine, fine refrigerator.
Edgar Cooke : I claim it!
Lady Elaine Fairchilde : I'll say please.
Edgar Cooke : [singing] Thank you, and please don't take it again. I have to go back to the kitchen and cook.
Lady Elaine Fairchilde : Okay, take it, toots.
-
Lady Elaine Fairchilde : [Lady Elaine has a "found" objects exhibit] Here is a fine block-rocker.
Cornflake S. Pecially : I claim it!
Lady Elaine Fairchilde : Please?
Cornflake S. Pecially : Thank you.
[Takes the rocker]
Cornflake S. Pecially : I've got to get back to work. I'll take it... I'm gonna take it.
King Friday XIII : Just as I must get back to MY royal work, Fairchilde!
Mayor Maggie : Looks like yours may be next, King Friday.
Lady Elaine Fairchilde : Now for the last part of the exhibit...
King Friday XIII : My crown?
Lady Elaine Fairchilde : Your FLYING crown. It's yours when you catch it, Friday. No need to thank me. Ha ha ha ha!
-
Mr. Rogers : Doesn't it feel good when you're just about to do something you know is wrong and you decide to do something else? Something that won't hurt you or anybody else? Doesn't that feel great? You know you're really growing then.
-
King Friday XIII : Mayor Maggie, royal looker, I presume?
Mayor Maggie : Correct as usual, King Friday.
King Friday XIII : Uh, do you have any report, uh, from your looking?
Mayor Maggie : We know for sure that Lady Elaine Fairchilde has several of the missing things at her museum.
King Friday XIII : Uh-huh.
Mayor Maggie : She's having an exhibit today.
King Friday XIII : Uh-huh. Does she have my crown?
Mayor Maggie : We're not completely sure, but we surmise that she does.
King Friday XIII : I want my crown immediately!
Mayor Maggie : I suggest that you and I go together to the museum and see if your crown is really there.
King Friday XIII : How can I go anywhere without my crown?
Mayor Maggie : I know it's distressing for you, King Friday, but
[excitedly]
Mayor Maggie : why don't you wear a cap. I think you'd look great in a cap.
King Friday XIII : Any old cap?

Mr. Rogers : Do you have some things that are really hard to share? Well, there are some things like your very favorite soft animal, or your favorite blanket or pillow that you shouldn't have to share. But there are some other things that we need to share. I think you know what some of them are.
-
Mr. Rogers : I was just thinking. There are so many people in the world who like to share the things that they know how to do. Isn't it great to grow up to be such a sharing person? I trust that you'll be growing up to be a sharing person. It can give everyone a good feeling.
