No one is going to buy it if they find it overrun by a group of waterlogged adolescents
Zelma Beasley : [Hearing this, Zelma turns to Buzz] There it is, again; rejection, rejection, rejection.
Buzz Dixon : [Hearing this kerfuffle, Ed pushes open his stable's window] Cast out by a world we didn't make.

Zelma Beasley : [Roger's just walked away, after telling Zelma and Buzz they'll have to vacate his beach property, by later in the day] DO you think you could talk Mr. Addison in to letting us stay a few more days?
Kay Addison : [Kay puts her 'motherly' hand o Zelma's shoulder] Oh, I'll try. I've talked him into letting me stay for 20 years!
-
Buzz Dixon : Would you want, to like, hear a poem Zelma wrote?
Roger Addison : I think I can, like, resist the temptation.
Kay Addison : Uh, we'd like to hear it, sweetie.
[Roger tries to bow out, but, Kay grabs him by his elbow]
Zelma Beasley : I call it; 'rejected
[Buzz starts to pound his fist into his open palm - pounding out the beat, as he looks off into space. Zelma, is also looking off into space, and she uses her hands to sdd 'frsma' to her words]
Zelma Beasley : neglected, befuddled, bemuddled
[elma strokes her forhead, and hair]
Buzz Dixon : Oh, it's a gasser
Zelma Beasley : A nothing. A 'zero'. A hole in the cheese. The scene can't be made when you're in the deep-freeze.
[Zelma clutches herself, as Buzz continues to keep the beat]
Zelma Beasley : Rejected, neglected, befuddled, bemuddled. The moment is wild
[Zelma's getting in to her spoken words, and her voice rises in urgency]
Zelma Beasley : We're blown off our course. That's why our youth - feels extinct like the horse!
[Ed's ears prick up, and he truns his attention, fully towards Zelma]
