- The only way for Davy to date General Vandenburg's daughter is to hold a chaperoned party. When everything else fails, Micky dresses up in drag as 'Mrs Arcadian', arousing the attention of both the General and Mr. Babbit, the landlord.
- Davy wants to date General Vanderburg's daughter. He's informed by a friend of hers that the general is very protective of his daughter. He will not allow her to go to any party that is not chaperoned.
Davy and the guys plan a party, and find a chaperone in the person of the woman who cleans their apartment from time to time. The party has already begun when they find the cleaning woman laid out in their bedroom, drunk. Meanwhile, the general has brought his daughter to the party, and states she can't stay unless there is a chaperone. Quickly, Micky dons a wig and a dress and passes himself off as "Mrs. Arcadian". The general is intrigued by the "chaperone", and instead of leaving right away, he decides to stick around.
While Davy gets to know the general's daughter better, Micky spends most of the evening trying to fend off the general's advances. When the general's daughter makes a comment about the chaperone being strange, Davy admits that it is Micky in drag. Davy and the girl don't realize they've been overheard by the general.
The general shuts the party down and clears everyone out. Then he makes an announcement that he and Mrs. Arcadian are getting married, which freaks Micky out. The truth comes out, and the general snaps on the guys. But his daughter yells at the general for being so strict, stating that if he wasn't like that, the guys would not have gone through the trouble of tricking him. The general realizes that he's been wrong and his apologizes to both Davy and his daughter.
Babbitt, the landlord, who also had his eye on "Mrs. Arcadian" comes into the apartment trying to get a date with her. Micky tells him to get out.
