While the premise to this of two women getting locked in a department store is a bit out there, this episode is strong for one very good reason. Desi Arnez first time in the series on camera as the Matador is classic. This is just one of many instances where people overlooked how much of a comedian Desi was. Overlooked because of Luci but here without Luci you really see it.

The premise of the series holds up here that the In-Laws just won't leave their kids alone. That is the whole thing but the writers had to keep finding ways to stress the situation. Here the ladies get locked in the store because they are on the phone.

Lucky the show is that Desi was in the same studio and not in Madrid or their phone bill would have gone a bit crazy. Still, the only time in the history of phones prior to Cells that a call to Madrid is only a dime.

Four episodes in after their elopement, and Jerry and Suzie are still on their honeymoon. Eve and Kay so desperately want to see how things are going and after making promises not to call them from their home phones break down and call from a department store phone which causes them to be locked in. Having spent over $15 talking to Jerry and Suzie on a pay phone, they have no way to call anyone, and thus are in danger of being stuck in the closed store all throughout Sunday through Monday morning. Miraculously finding some change, they accidentally call the wrong number, and reach internationally famous bull fighter Rafaelo Delgado in Barcelona Spain. They don't waste time sleeping in the department store, instead taking time to model the very expensive furs they find while looking for a way out. Their encounter with the security guard brings on even more farcical comedy and an argument over Kay's Italian heritage.

A portly Desi Arnaz guest-stars as Rafaelo in a lengthy cameo, simply talking from his bed while wearing pajamas. He utilizes his very funny broken English to get laughs, and the audience applause indicates that in its (hopefully) live filming in 1967 that his surprise cameo was greeted with adoration. Later on, he is seen wearing his bullfighting outfit, calling Herb and Roger (pronouncing Hubbard as Hoobard) and spelling out the name of the department store through names of Hispanic women. This is also the very first episode where Kay refers to her son Jerry as her "darling baby boy", a line taken from the song "Humming" from her hit Broadway musical "Carnival". There's also a very funny coincidence with the name of the security guard, Tony Roma, also the name of a famous West coast rib restaurant. The comedy builds up here to make this the funniest episode since the premiere.
