Very good episode.

Oscar Malleson calls on the home of Phoebe Partridge, with an interesting proposition, the chance to earn some money off the reputation of Mr Rose, who allegedly took £20k in The so called Brazzoni case.

Back on form after The Swagman, this was an altogether more interesting and unique episode. This is the first time I can recall the integrity of Charles Rose coming into question, is it conceivable that he could have taken money, or worse, killed someone?

Plenty of intrigue, lots of twists and turns, including one rather brilliant one. It does unfortunately feature the old drink in the face scene, but we won't dwell on that.

Jennifer Jayne and Roger Hammond stand out here for me, it's a very nicely acted episode, I love how cool Mr Rose comes across, he's not stressed or pressured at any time, cool as a cucumber.

Very good, 8/10.
