On a visit to the U. S., the self-assured Sultan of oil-rich Ramsar declines Secret Service protection for himself or his five wives, unaware that he is the target of an abduction plot by enemy agents. Reed assigns Stanley to discreetly protect the Sultan and his coterie by posing as his social secretary. Stanley lacks even rudimentary secretarial skills and is quickly dismissed from the position, but he must spring quickly into action when the hostile foreign nationals manage to kidnap the Sultan from a local hospital.
