The Psychologist Goes Crazy
ccthemovieman-15 January 2008
Warning: Spoilers
Often times, the best part of these old half-hour shows was the reaction everyday people had when they actually saw Herman Munster and his family face-to-face. That was the big moment here as a psychiatrist, played by the great comedy actor Harvey Korman, meets the Munsters.

After Herman bends the iron bars to free little Galen Stewart from them, and thus "saves his life," the little boy (about Eddie's age) and Herman are now pals. Since Herman has the mentality of a little kid, he's all excited to have a new pal to meet each day after work.

The story is Galen's parents not believing their son's tales of meeting the Munsters and the description he gives of them and their house. The boy is taken to a psychiatrist, who later - to prove the kid wrong - accompanies Galen to the Munster house. The results are predictable.....but always fun to watch.
