Bernadette Peters would be one of The Muppets' guests when they guest host Episode dated 2 April 1979 (1979) in 1979. During this show Bernadette would again sing "Just One Person" to Robin. This song, which originated from the musical "Snoopy", has also come to be associated with Jim Henson as it was performed at his memorial service and as the closing number of The Muppets Celebrate Jim Henson (1990) (where Steve Whitmire's Kermit makes his debut at the end of the song).
This show earned Bernadette Peters an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Single Actress - Continuing or Single Performer - Variety or Music Series.
This is Robin the Frog's first appearance in the second season as well as the first time he's referenced in the show as being Kermit's nephew.
Miss Mousey was first paired with Kermit in the first Muppet Show pilot, The Muppets Valentine Show (1974).
Part of the backstage plot "I'm Five" was included in "The Muppet Show Book", published by Harry N. Abrams, Inc in 1978, in which the sequence was entirely illustrated by Tudor Banus.
