Why would you put Julie on the stand again?
Wirefan1229 December 2015
Warning: Spoilers
The trial resumes after Julie Costello reveals she is the now/new wife of Richard Cross. The next ploy is to get her to testify against Doctor Lester about his rapes of her late at night during their 'therapy' sessions. The already duped Arnold talks to her and she promises to testify (like the other victims will) that she was indeed raped. She is perhaps not the most trustworthy person anymore for the defense.

Then, at least, the rest of the victims DO testify and it looks fairly decent that Dr. Lester may finally be discredited...

Then we get to see more of his 'poor' soon-to-be ex-wife complaining about how he missed a counseling session just because he is in some kind of murder trial. She is tired of being forgot (I have trouble feeling sorry for the poor little rich girl).

Next we get the testimony of the receptionist's brother at Dr. Lester's clinic (the one who said Neil called the night of the murder to say he did it) saying that Richard Cross is paying for his experimental AIDS treatment which basically calls her credibility into question.

Episode ends with Ted's wife saying she has a meeting with a lawyer in a week...undoubtedly to begin divorce proceedings. She apparently is not getting enough attention from Ted. This episode is definitely better than the last one!
