No news is not good news.

Warning: Spoilers
Old colleagues Jim and Murphy find themselves at odds when they are up for a Sunday evening news anchor position. Jim gets all the big stories one week and the following week Murphy is delivered nothing but featured fluff. She has to report on a small earthquake only broke a tray of coffee cups and the plite of a bear who fell into a hole and got stuck. Jokes on Murphy's lack of biting news follow at the network, and the tension between Murphy and Jim (presented in a humorous light) threatens their history.

Bravo to Murphy for making her decision based on reverse sexism, although there are twists along side that too. Something tells me that both Jim and Murphy would not be happy being without their FYI team members around them, so the conclusion makes perfect sense. Alan Oppenheimer returns as Gene Kinsella, so commanding as the station owner. A very good episode that shows in depth the goings on behind network new shows and how the anchors are at the mercy of the stories that they get. Something tells me though that any single week in broadcasting would not be completely news free other than fluff, although it is interesting to see what would happen if that were to occur.
